Libris Blz enters partnership with Paper Art 
At Paper Art, we set the standard for sustainable cards and gifts. A family-run business since 1985, we specialise in Gifts & Greetings for every occasion of the year. Every quarter we introduce new products with a personal touch and always a changing range. The products are conceived and created with great passion and attention.
At Paper Art, we believe in creativity, service and product quality. All graphic designs are developed in our own creative studio. In addition to our standard collection, we also work on personalised solutions and private label collections. We are committed to corporate social responsibility by making printing from 100% plant waste and strive to be as green as possible in our production. Moreover, all our products are manufactured in the Netherlands, and we work with people who are distanced from the labour market.

We are particularly pleased about our new cooperation with LibrisBlz. Our range of sustainable greeting cards and gifts fits perfectly with the look and feel of the LibrisBlz shops. Thanks to our well-thought-out and ever-changing gift concept, which responds to all occasions and seasons of the year, we can constantly offer an updated range that surprises LibrisBlz customers again and again. As a result, customers can always find something unique and appropriate, tailored to the season.

Paper Art really adds something to the bookstore assortment. The products are not for sale on every street corner. The combination of sustainable greeting cards and gift products in combination with an attractive presentation in the shop certainly contributes to additional turnover.
Accessibility
At the start of the talks, suppliers said they were already satisfied and had a good cooperation with Libris. However, after analysing the sales figures, it turned out that the same suppliers were supplying top 50 Libris shops but not yet the remaining 180 Libris Blz shops. This is mainly due to the reach from the supplier to the shops. In the cooperation, we obviously aim to increase the reach for the supplier and introduce the affiliated entrepreneurs to a different assortment than the one they already have in the shop. More opportunities for both parties and stronger together towards the future.
Online strategy 
Besides physical reach, online is also becoming increasingly important. Consumers want to know what the shop has in stock, or find inspiration online. Together with the connected suppliers, we fill the Libris Blz SFTP database server with all supplier data, descriptions, scan codes, prices, commercial texts and 4 product images. We link this database to the local shop website, extract the local price from the POS system and the product is (if the shop books it in stock) orderable on the local website. For books, online sales from own stock are a good percentage of sales. This is a better revenue model for the shop than an order going through to the CB.
Digitaal Beurs Plein
Entrepreneurs at Libris Blz are used to a Digitaal Beurs Plein for purchasing. Through this platform, offers, new assortment, bestseller top 60 and the like have been ordered for years. For Non Books, this did not yet exist. From January 2023, we started the Digitaal Beurs Plein Non Books. We have agreed in cooperation with the suppliers that we will use the Digitaal Beurs Plein for new products, seasonal products and offers, allowing the entrepreneur more margin on these items than through the suppliers' ordering portal.
